Tips
· Get the potential buyers full name and phone number before giving out any information about your home.
· Place eucalyptus in planters or hidden in shelving to give your home a good fragrance without seeming like you are covering up odors i.e. Lysol, pine sol, etc.
· Place most of your decorative items and photos in boxes. One wants the buyers to imagine themselves living in the home.
· Large potted plants give atmosphere to the home without costing a great deal of money and then you may take the plants with you when you move.
· When buyers ask if you are negotiable on your price reply that all offers will be considered.
· Have all visitors sign a guest book and ask for e-mail addresses.
· Tell them the appliances are negotiable. Any appliances they need they will ask for.
· Get your purchase agreement from a title company.
· Home inspection -correct defects before putting your home on the market.
· Get a buyers pre-approval certificate before signing the purchase agreement.
